Man killed and eaten by crocodile while breaking coronavirus restrictions

A fisherman has died after being eaten by a crocodile while breaking coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the BBC reports.

The unnamed man was attacked by a croc in the Nyabarongo river in Rwanda on Wednesday morning, Kamonyi district’s mayor Alice Kayitesi told the BBC.

"He had broken the stay-home rule, he’s among very few people here who are not co-operating with the lockdown to stop the [corona]virus," Ms Kayitesi told the network.
