A man travelling with an eight-year-old boy in regional NSW is behind bars after allegedly being busted with 20 kilograms of ice worth more than $10 million in his ute.
The 38-year-old man from South Australia was stopped at Balranald in the NSW Riverina on Monday evening with officers allegedly finding 15kg of methylamphetamine in the back of his ute.
A further 5kg of the drug was found in bags inside the vehicle, NSW Police said in a statement on Tuesday.
The man's been charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs and possessing prohibited drugs.
He didn't apply for bail at Wentworth Local Court on Tuesday and it was formally refused, with the man due to reappear at Broken Hill Local Court on Wednesday.
The young boy is being cared for by a government agency.
