The reason why snakes are drawn to this location around your home
A Queensland resident has been made to take a second glance at his water heater after a slithery intruder tried to keep warm during a cold winter’s day.
A carpet python was discovered wrapped around the water heater’s piping at the Sunshine Coast home before calling out a snake catcher.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 on Facebook shared an image of the snake disguised among several pipes and wires.
“This big guy has the right idea, using a Sunshine Coast residents water heater to stay warm,” snake catcher Lockie Gilding wrote.
He said the snake finding solace beside a water heater was a common occurrence during winter.
