Man facing expensive bill from daily influencers on his doorstep

A 77-year-old man could be forced to fork out thousands to fix the front of his home, after a constant stream of influencers flocked to his doorstep to take pictures.

Peter Lee's picturesque Notting Hill home in the UK has been a hotspot for influencers. Every day, people show up outside his home and take photos in front of the pink brick house adorned with black railings and overhanging greenery.

He's caught several people using his property as a backdrop for photos since January this year.

One fitness model was even caught on Mr Lee's doorbell camera using the black railing outside of his home to hold themselves up as they did the splits in the air.

People have walked up his stairs and taken photos on his doorstep, he told a Local Democracy Reporting Service reporter.

He has seen models using tents to change outfits and groups of people have gathered outside his home for bigger photoshoots.

The grandfather has no problem with people taking photos, however he says the crowds have caused damage to the tiles and railings.

The damage to the facade could cost Mr Lee thousand of pounds to fix.

"People say I should put a notice outside," he told the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

"It's a daily occurrence and I often have to wait for them to vacate the doorstep. They are usually quite polite but occasionally I have girls look at me and they don't move."

Not only have people damaged the outside of his home, but he also says once a bag of clothes was left on his doorstep.

He said the "really big group" had erected changing tents outside his home and people took turns taking photos on his doorstep.

They never came back for the clothes, so Mr Lee gifted them to his granddaughter as a present.
