Man's troubling Facebook post before killing family in apparent murder-suicide

A man wrote a troubling Facebook post before allegedly killing his wife and children in an apparent murder-suicide.

Kyle Milliken, 41, was found dead by police inside his home in the US state of Kentucky alongside his wife Ashley Milliken, 35, Kjae Milliken, 13, and Kycohn Millken, 8, on Sunday morning, ABC 3 reported.

Police are still investigating the deaths but said there is no threat to the public.

Before all four died, Mr Miliken posted on Facebook claiming his wife had betrayed him.

“My kids are my everything, a woman can come and go,” he wrote.

“If she is not happy you can’t make her happy! A lot of the time, she was going to do it anyway, but when you pick someone up and carry them for years and she still betrays you, what do you do?

“There is one person that knows the story behind this journey. Donnie be glad I did find you tonight.”

It’s not clear who “Donnie” is.

The family’s pastor Chad Lamb told WPSD 6 he’s shocked by their deaths.

“It's a well-known family — well respected family on both sides of their families that they come from,” he said.

“Our community is just grieving right now."
