Man dies after stabbing at well-known lookout spot
A man has died after he was stabbed at a well-known lookout spot in regional Victoria.
Homicide Squad detectives were called to One Tree Hill Lookout in Bendigo on Friday night on reports a man had suffered stab wounds to his abdomen about 11.20pm.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 19-year-old Kennington man, who was arrested in Flora Hill on Saturday, has been released without charge pending further inquiries.
Police say the victim and the other man were known to each other. They added they have identified all the people involved in the incident and are not looking for anyone else.
