A man has died after his car crashed into a tree in Sydney's west.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was found dead at the scene on the Great Western Highway at Werrington about 3pm on Friday.
He is yet to be formally identified, NSW Police said in a statement.
The crash came less than 24 hours after a 73-year-old man in a wheelchair was hit by a ute at an intersection in western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Merrylands West after a Toyota Hilux dual cab ute, driven by a 22-year-old, struck the man about 5pm on Thursday.
The elderly victim later died at Westmead Hospital. The driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
