A man has died in a horror workplace incident in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to a business on Kendall Street in Clyde about 7.50am on Wednesday after reports of a workplace incident.

The Daily Telegraph reported it’s understood the 55-year-old man was struck following a plaster collapse.

The man died at the scene despite the work of NSW Ambulance paramedics.

A report is set to be prepared for the coroner, with the incident referred to SafeWork NSW.

A SafeWork NSW spokesperson confirmed an investigation has been launched.

“SafeWork NSW is responding to a workplace fatality that occurred in Clyde this morning and our Inspectors are onsite,” the spokesperson said on Wednesday.
