Man cops nine fines after being caught speeding at 160km/h
A man has been arrested and handed nine tickets after police pulled him over allegedly driving nearly 80km/h over the speed limit.
Baruch Ungar, 26, was found driving a Honda Civic at about 160km/h in a 90 zone in Orangetown, New York on Sunday about 11.50pm, police said.
“While speaking to troopers it was determined that Ungar was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated,” police said.
“He had a blood alcohol content of 0.13 per cent.”
Ungar was charged with DWI and handed nine more tickets, including for speeding.
He will face court on April 20.
