The teenage boy dumped the Lamborghini just a few blocks away and ran up onto neighbour Andre Kaline’s verandah.

“I didn’t know if he had a weapon. I wasn’t sure how crazy he was. I was trying to talk and calm him down,” Mr Kaline told the publication.

“He asked me for advice. He’s like, ‘I’m 14. I don’t know what to do’.”

Moments later, a police officer appeared and the teen was arrested.

Mr Sander later retrieved his car from he scene and drove home.
