A seventh person has been charged as investigations continue into the fatal bashing of a teenage boy in Sydney's west two months ago.

The boy was found with injuries to his head and chest at a home in Doonside on August 4 and later died in hospital.

Four boys - aged 14, 15 and two aged 13 - as well as a 15-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman have since been charged over the murder and remain before the courts.

NSW Police on Thursday arrested a 29-year-old man at Werrington and charged him with being an accessory after the fact.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Friday.

Police have also released CCTV vision of a man who was in the area at the time the teen was attacked who they want to speak to.

The man is described as being of medium build, with brown shoulder-length hair and was wearing a dark t-shirt, light coloured pants and dark coloured running shoes.
