Man charged over sex assaults in Melbourne

A man has been charged over a series of sex assaults in Melbourne's southeast after handing himself in to police.

The women were assaulted in separate attacks in April and May in suburban Hampton Park, with the latest incident occurring on Monday morning.

A 27-year-old Hampton Park presented himself to a police station on Wednesday night and he has been charged with sexual assault-related offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court at a date to be fixed.
