A man who was found naked in a couple's bed in Sydney's south has been released from a mental health facility and charged.
The 25-year-old Irish national was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent on Wednesday, nearly a month after the incident in Maroubra.
About 1.45am on August 17, a woman woke up to find the naked man in the bed with her and her partner.
She woke up her partner, who told the man to leave.
He picked up his clothes and walked into the backyard where the couple tried to keep him while they called police.
But the man climbed back through the kitchen window and walked through their home.
When officers arrived and put him inside the police car the man began to convulse and an ambulance was called.
He was taken to hospital and later admitted to a mental health facility.
He was refused bail, to appear at Waverley Local Court.
