Queensland Police have charged a man with attempted murder after a shooting outside an inner Brisbane convenience store.

A 33-year-old Camp Hill man will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police believe the 33-year-old knows the 34-year-old man who was shot in the stomach outside a Spring Hill convenience store early on Monday morning.

Police said on Monday the 34-year-old parked his car and got into a green Holden sedan where two other people were waiting outside the Spring Hill store about 2am on Monday.

The man was then shot, but he was able to get out and was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he underwent surgery for non-life threatening injuries.

A Green Holden sedan was later found burnt out on Nudgee Beach Rd, Nudgee Beach, about 4am.

The 33-year-old has also been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson of a motor vehicle.
