Man banned from Disney World after holding up sign on ride

Advertised as the “most magical place on Earth”, Disneyland is the stuff of dreams for many of its visitors worldwide.

But the enchantment was lost for one visitor to Florida’s Walt Disney World after he was banned from the park for brandishing a pro-Trump banner, Fox29 reported.

Images taken at the park show Dion Cini holding a ‘Trump 2020’ banner as he hurtles along the log flume attraction at the Orlando amusement park.

An annual passholder at Disney parks for 24 years, Cini had been warned before over his use of Trump memoribilia and had recently had a previous ban overturned, WFTV reported.

According to strict rules at Walt Disney World visitors are prohibited from organising “unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches” and must refrain from “the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.”

Cini was handed the photo of himself on the ride with a notice attached saying he was “trespassed” from all Walt Disney World properties.

Cini shard the image on Facebook, drawing a mixed reaction from the online community.

“Not all heroes wear capes!” one supporter of Cini quipped.

“People come to Disney to escape the world, not deal with some boomer a**hole on Splash Mountian blocking their view with a Trump sign,” one disapproving user wrote.
