Detectives believe the woman was inside a bin that was picked up outside a property in Coolaroo that day, and was taken to the site.

The woman, who is still yet to be formally identified, is believed to be a 67-year-old Coolaroo woman.

On Saturday afternoon, detectives established a crime scene at a Coolaroo home.

Homicide Squad detectives arrested a man, 45, in connection to the find on Tuesday morning.

He is being interviewed by police.

It’s believed the pair were known to each other.
