Man arrested over 'serious' Christmas Eve attack

An arrest has been made after a man was left with serious injuries in an attack on Christmas Eve.

A man, 32, handed himself in after an appeal was made in connection with the incident on Cromwell Street, Gloucester, in the early hours of 24 December.

The man, from Tewkesbury, was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

Gloucestershire Police has asked anyone with information which they have not yet shared to get in touch.
