Powerball winner's priceless reaction after realising he was $600K richer

The winners from the $150 million Powerball jackpot keep coming with the latest Aussie to bag a windfall - a division one winner who has pocketed a very handy $595,000 after picking up a ticket with his grocery shop.

The lucky man said he was “getting some tractor parts” when he realised he had just become almost $600,000 richer.

“While I was waiting I grabbed the paper and realised I had won,” the winner said.

The down to earth man stayed pretty calm and decided to finish what he had came to do before celebrating the life changing lotto win.

“I put it in my pocket and got the tractor parts,” he told The Lott.

The winning ticket was bought at Boyup Brook IGA, south-southeast of Perth.

The cashed up tractor enthusiast now plans to use some of the extra cash to celebrate his wife’s birthday and the rest will get him a step closer to retirement.

The Lott told Yahoo News Australia that there is still a few mystery winners still to come forward.

“A Saturday Lotto Division One winner from Kalbarri is yet to come through to our Winners Room to claim their prize worth more than $960,000,” a Lott spokesperson said.

The latest winner to claim his part in one of the largest jackpots in Australian history told The Lott that he won’t let the money change him and is happy to stay right where he is in WA.

“I’ll still be the grumpy old bugger from Boyup Brook,” he said.
