A man allegedly punched a woman in the face and took her car, keys and phone in a string of horror domestic violence offences.

Police have charged two men northwest of Sydney with domestic violence offences after they were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.

Officers launched an investigation following reports a man allegedly punched a woman in the face at a Dubbo home about 12pm on September 16.

Police were also investigating reports the man had taken the woman’s car, keys and phone on September 4.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at a Myall Street home at 12.30am Friday following extensive inquiries.

A 32-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant related to the alleged assault of a woman and damaging the tyres of her car on August 14 was also arrested when police arrived at the Myall Street home.

Both men were taken to Dubbo Police Station, and the 23-year-old was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), take and drive conveyance without consent of owner and steal from the person.

The 32-year-old was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, destroy or damage property (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm.

Both men were refused bail and are set to front the Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
