A man has appeared in court accused of stabbing a jogger after stalking her through a Melbourne park.
Dimitri Evangelou allegedly stabbed the woman in an attempted sexually assault at Gowanbrae, in the city's northwest, on Thursday.
The 18-year-old is charged with seven offences, including stalking his alleged victim through parklands in broad daylight and recklessly causing serious injury.
He's also accused of sexually touching her and applying force with the intent to commit sexual assault.
Evangelou faces another charge of sexual touching over a separate incident in the same area in April.
He did not apply for bail in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
He was remanded in custody to reappear for a committal mention on November 27.
