A man is behind bars after allegedly indecently assaulting five women on separate occasions over the past month in the outback NSW town of Broken Hill.

The 33-year-old man allegedly approached the women in the street or inside businesses before indecently assaulting them between May and June, police allege.

He was arrested on Thursday and charged with several indecent assault and stalking offences before a scheduled court appearance in the local court on Friday.
