Man, 58, kidnapped for ransom in Sydney

A 58-year-old man was kidnapped from a northwest Sydney home and held for ransom before he turned up two days later at a hospital, police say.

A fake pizza delivery man entered the Dundas Valley home on the night of February 9, before he was joined by three others who assaulted the man.

Police said the victim was knocked out and taken away in a vehicle, before he turned up at Liverpool Hospital on February 11 with injuries, including face and leg fractures.

Investigators were told a sum of money was paid for the man's release.

Detectives have released CCTV footage of four men wanted over the kidnapping and a stolen BMW that was found at Beverly Hills on February 10.
