Man in his 30s arrested after €3m cocaine seizure

Gardaí (Irish police) have seized cocaine with an estimated value of €3m (£2.5m) during a search operation in Dublin.

The operation took place at a residence in Clondalkin on Tuesday.

A man in his 30s was arrested under drugs legislation and remains detained in the Dublin area.

The drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland to undergo analysis.

Gardaí said investigations continue.
