The appeal was filed Friday, and it encompasses the entirety of the High Court’s decision, Malaysia’s Attorney General said in a statement posted on X.
Malaysia’s High Court on Thursday acquitted Rosmah of 17 charges involving 7.1 million ringgit ($1.6 million), a decision that she hailed as a birthday gift to herself and her husband, who remains behind bars for crimes related to troubled state fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd.
Rosmah is separately appealing her guilty conviction over a graft case and faces a lawsuit over luxury goods allegedly linked to 1MDB.
