Magnitude 7.2 earthquake strikes Indonesia

An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck Kepulauan Barat Daya north of Timor Leste, Indonesia, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake struck at a depth of 200 km on Thursday, EMSC said.

Geoscience Australia says the quake was felt in Darwin.
