Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes near west coast Honshu, Japan, says EMSC
(Reuters) -A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck near the west coast of Honshu, Japan on Tuesday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
The earthquake was at a depth of 8 km (5 miles).
No tsunami warning was issued, Japanese public broadcaster NHK reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
