Magdeburg Christmas market incident could be attack, local authorities say

(Reuters) - An incident in which a car drove into a crowd at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg appears to be an attack, a spokesperson for the city authority told local broadcaster MDR.

There are numerous injured people on site, the spokesperson said.
