MAFS star Jess explains why her lips swelled during filming

Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has spoken about how filming for the reality show actually had an impact on her appearance.

The 26-year-old reveals that drinking alcohol during certain scenes, such as the dinner parties, caused her pout to plump up to some degree.

“I spoke to my surgeon the other day because I brought it up with her and said ‘everyone’s saying my lips are so big’ and she said it’s normal for anyone with lip fillers, when you drink they swell,” she recently told The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential.

Recently Jess’ lips have been the talk amongst fans, but there’s other small changes she’s made to her appearance as well.

We’ve seen proof she got veneers in 2016.

Maven Dental Yokine clinic in Western Australia, shared photos of the reality star’s teeth makeover which is thanks to their Glamsmile treatment, an “innovative veneers system for discoloured, misaligned, worn-down, broken or gapped teeth”.

The before photos show Jessika’s uneven teeth, a stark contrast to the photos taken after the treatment which reveal a set of straight, pearly whites.

Jessika herself has also shared images and given the clinic a plug on her social media, thanking them for her “beautiful new smile”.

“Thank you @yokinedental for boosting my confidence and fulfilling my dream of having a beautiful straight white smile,” she wrote in December 2016.
