MAFS star Olivia's friends speak out after she signs with celebrity agent

She’s been labelled as the most controversial contestant to ever appear on Married At First Sight, and it appears as though Olivia Frazer’s time in the spotlight is set to continue after the show ends next week.

The 27-year-old teaching assistant and her on-screen husband Jackson Lonie, who are rumoured to be going strong post-show, have recently signed on to be represented by celebrity agent Max Markson, according to the Herald Sun.

Max currently represents a number of former MAFS stars, including Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson, Cyrell Paule and Jessika Power, who has since appeared on a string of reality TV shows around the world.

With a solid relationship and burgeoning career as a reality TV star ahead of her, Olivia has seemingly achieved everything that a MAFS contestant could possibly want after leaving the experiment.

A couple of people who knew Olivia on the Central Coast have since spoken to Yahoo Lifestyle following the news and shared their thoughts on her future career.

“Olivia knew she was in for a rough ride once the show started airing, but it's been a lot tougher than she thought,” one friend, who asked to remain anonymous, said.

“She has struggled but she knows it's the villains who can go on to have the biggest profiles and make the most money afterwards. That's why she has signed with Jessika Power's agent.”

A second friend claimed that Olivia is “trying not to watch the show” and keeps her phone turned off when it airs on TV.

“She is just focusing on her future with Jackson and becoming a power couple,” they claimed. “She knows she can't go back into teaching for a while but is being told she can make much more money going down the influencer route with her new management.”

The reports comes shortly after Olivia threatened to leave the reality show during Monday night’s episode after spending a night apart from Jackson.

“I'm just questioning why we should bother staying here,” she admitted to her partner upon his return the following morning.

“Domenica was allowed to come over to this house and scream at me in the doorway the other day. And at the commitment ceremony, I get railroaded, gaslighted, attempts of assassination against my character.”

Jackson, however, was keen to stay in the experiment and told her to calm down, take a deep breath and focus on their relationship.

The pair are now heading into the final vows alongside Domenica and Jack, Ella and Mitchell, Selina and Cody, and Tamara and Brent.

Married At First Sight airs at 7pm on Sunday and 7:30pm on Monday to Wednesday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
