A man has been banned from owning animals for three years and given 18 months probation for repeatedly punching a dog in the head in Queensland.
Andrew Coleman, 31, pleaded guilty in Mackay Magistrates Court on Tuesday to cruelty to an animal by causing it unnecessary or unreasonable pain and was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
