Macca's serves up new spin on iconic burger and brings back fan favourite
Quarter Pounder fans rejoice - Macca's has announced the launch of a new version of its popular Quarter Pounder burger and the return of a customer favourite.
The latest addition to Macca's winter menu, the Quarter Pounder Deluxe burger puts a tasty twist on the classic Quarter Pounder, with lettuce, fresh tomato, cheese, onion, tangy mustard and pickles on top of a beef patty.
The iconic Quarter Pounder with Bacon will also return to Aussie menus for a limited time.
Tim Kenward, Marketing Director of McDonald's Australia, said Macca's is committed to bringing "great quality, great tasting food" to customers across the country.

"We are excited to give Quarter Pounder fans even more variety with the addition of the new Quarter Pounder Deluxe and Quarter Pounder with Bacon," Mr Kenward said.
"From crispy bacon to fresh lettuce and tomato, there’s something for everyone in this range."
Macca's offering vintage-themed glasses with Quarter Pounder meals
To sweeten the deal, Macca's will also be offering customers a vintage-themed glass with the purchase of any medium or large Quarter Pounder range meal.
Available for a limited time only, there are four glasses to collect and each features a heritage Macca's logo.
The glasses are available in clear, green, blue and red, so customers can collect them all.
The new menu items and collectable glasses will be available at Macca's restaurants nationwide, including via the MyMacca's app and McDelivery, from Wednesday 3 August for a limited time.
New desserts on the menu this winter
Macca's recently gave customers another reason to "cosy up this winter" with the launch of two warming desserts in July.
For the first time ever, Macca's is serving up its Crème Brulée McFlurry and Crème Brulée Pie to Aussie customers.
Featuring McDonald's soft serve ice cream, these desserts combine pie pastry with smooth crème custard and burnt caramel fillings.
