Luxury cars, cocaine seized in Melb raids

Three men are facing cocaine trafficking charges after police carried out a series of searches in Melbourne suburbs, seizing luxury cars, designer clothes and cash.

A Mercedes Benz, Maserati and Harley Davidson, designer clothes and accessories worth about $150,000, and more than $130,000 in cash were among the items seized by police on Friday.

Officers also allegedly found about 1kg of cocaine during the seven searches, carried out at suburbs including Southbank, St Kilda, Truganina and Yarraville.

Police said the haul was worth nearly $900,000.

A 38-year-old St Kilda man is due to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with trafficking cocaine.

A 33-year-old Truganina man and a 30-year-old Southbank man will face the court on August 27 charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of cocaine.

And a 27-year-old man was charged with steroid possession and is due to face the court on October 27.
