Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has announced she has a memoir in the works, with the book also touching on her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti.

Ekin-Su's tell-all book will see her open up on childhood trauma and bullying, as well as looking back on her experiences taking part in reality shows such as Love Island, The Traitors US and Celebrity Big Brother.

"I've got a book coming out which is all about me and the people I've met in life," she told The Sun.

Ekin-Su promises her memoir will help her fans understand her better, with topics ranging "from childhood traumas to extreme bullying to boyfriends continuously breaking my heart, why I felt abandoned. Why I was always closer to older people."

"So it's everything, my experience with Davide, there's a lot in there," she added. "I'm done hiding. I'm done lying and protecting other people, this is my truth."

Ekin-Su said that writing it was "like therapy". It contains advice for others going through similar ordeals and an "emotional" letter Ekin-Su penned for her 10-year-old self.

"I want people to know me for me, not the work I've done or the wronguns I've dated," she said, adding that she wants to be liked for her real personality.

"I don't think many people have given me a chance to show my true self, I mean why would anybody really know me, when all they know is the girl on produced reality shows, and it also doesn't help that I'm still learning who the hell I am."

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
