'Love Is Blind' Season 2 Is Coming to Netflix
After a long Love Is Blind -less year, we are very pleased to share with you that the smash-hit Netflix dating series is returning for more action.
To rejog your memory (after all, it has been over a year and a half since season 1 came out), the 10-episode series features a group of singles trying to find love without ever laying eyes on each other. Only when someone proposes to the other do the two actually get to see each other face to face in the "real world" and prepare for their wedding day.
In season 1, which was hosted by Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, we followed the very dramatic ups and downs between several couples, including Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas and fan favorites Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed. After we all breezed through season 1, Netflix released a Youtube reunion special less than a month later. What's more, on July 28, Netflix is once again checking in with the season 1 crew for another reunion special called Love Is Blind: After the Altar.

When does season 2 of Love Is Blind come out on Netflix?
Netflix announced in March 2020 that Love Is Blind is getting (at least) two more seasons. As for when we'll see season 2, however, that release date appears to be still up in the air. According to what Vanessa told Hollywood Life, the second season was set to start shooting this past April. Assuming Netflix was able to stay on schedule, this might put a premiere date in late 2021 or early 2022. Perhaps they'll release Love Is Blind season 2 close to Valentine's Day next year, similar to how season 1 came out on February 13, 2020.

How will Love Is Blind season 2 casting work?
For season 1 of the show, producers strictly selected candidates living in Atlanta, Georgia, so contestants didn't have to worry about falling for someone who lives on the opposite side of the country. What's more, the show built its own custom facility filled with "pods" in Atlanta, according to OprahMag.com.
By contrast, season 2 will take place in Chicago, Illinois. It's unclear at the moment where season 3 will be shot.
