Watch below: Lorraine Kelly is 'fed up' with Matt Hancock on 'I'm a Celebrity'
The broadcaster was discussing the former health secretary on her eponymous morning show on ITV with Edwina Currie and Peter Andre.
Kelly said: "The fact that he’s been voted leader – it’s 'the Matt Hancock show'.
"I must admit, I’m getting a wee bit fed up of it."
She further criticised Hancock for looking like he was having a "gay old time" in the jungle after resigning for breaking his own social distancing rules.
Currie added: "I don’t think he should be there. He’s got a job to do in England and he could be promoting issues to do with dyslexia, or whatever he fancied, from the best platform in the world, which is the House of Commons.
Peter Andre also said that a lot of people still felt "raw" about seeing Hancock on the reality show after his deeply controversial stint as health secretary and handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The pop star subsequently praised ITV for signing him up and said the broadcaster "were very smart with what they did".
Since entering the jungle, Hancock has been elected leader of the camp winning a contest against former rugby player Mike Tindall.
After he won, Charlene White asked the suspended Tory MP: "Does this win feel sweet, especially after you lost to Boris?"
Hancock replied: "This more than makes up for it."
Hancock has been heavily criticised for appearing on the show on social media, especially after it was reported he was receiving £400,000 for signing up.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
