Spending all day looking for the best online sales and deals is a hard job, but someone’s got to do it — and that someone is me! I never thought I’d be able to put my shopaholic tendencies to good use, but here I am.
Over the years, I’ve learned to become a bit more discerning and not buy every single thing I see on sale. I do have bills, after all. And the truth is, once you’ve seen so many deals, the bar for a really good discount definitely gets higher.
Every once in a while, though, some deals are so good that even I can’t pass them up. And that was definitely the case this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I wrote about a ton of sales, and I just couldn’t resist shopping some of them myself because the prices were the lowest I’d seen in months.
Curious about what a professional deal hunter purchased on the biggest shopping days of the year? Keep reading below to find out.
Let’s start on Amazon because, like most people, I placed multiple orders over the last few days as items I had been eyeing went on sale:
Cuisinart CTG-00-RTNG Scoop & Strain Tongs, $8.80 (Orig. $22)
I've scratched and ruined my fair share of nonstick pans using metal forks to turn and scoop food, so I finally decided to do better. When I saw these Cuisinart CTG-00-RTNG Scoop & Strain Tongs on sale for less than $10, I didn't even think twice about adding them to my cart.
adidas Unisex-Adult Adissage Slide Sandals, $19.95 (Orig. $30)
I buy my dad a pair of these Adissage Slide Sandals every year for Christmas. Normally, I don't shop for gifts this early, but when I saw they were on sale for less than $20, I ordered right away.
Slip Silk Skinnie Scrunchies, $31.20 (Orig. $39)
When I say these luxe Silk Skinnie Scrunchies never go on sale, that is not an exaggeration. I constantly stalk them in my Amazon cart, so when I saw the price drop, I bought them right away.
Juliette Collection 14K Yellow Gold 2MM J Hoop Earrings, $224.06 (Orig. $248.97)
Another item I stalk on Amazon? These Juliette Collection 14K Yellow Gold 2MM J Hoop Earrings. I have a smaller pair that I love and have been wanting a larger pair for a while now. For months, the price had not dropped. So when I saw them go on sale for 10% off, I didn't think twice about ordering. They're the perfect gift for me this holiday season.
Of course, I also hit up other Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for clothing and other items. Here are the deals that were too good for me to resist:
Mango Double-breasted virgin wool coat, $199.99 (Orig. $349)
I've wanted a dressy, camel color coat for a while now, but I could never decide on one. As soon as I saw this Mango Double-breasted virgin wool coat, though, I fell in love. At $150 off, the price was just right for me to make the splurge.
The North Face Horizontal Embro Ball Cap, $18 (Orig. $30)
When I can't be bothered to do my hair, I always throw on a baseball cap. I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous blue hue of this one at The North Face. The fact that it was on sale for less than $20? Done!
Madewell Cali Demi-Boot Jeans in Dorrance Wash: TENCEL™ Denim Edition, $29.99 with code CLICK (Orig. $138)
I love Madewell jeans but have difficulty swallowing the $100+ price tag. When I saw these Cali Demi-Boot Jeans were already on sale, plus another 50% off, I couldn't resist.
Women's Explorer Insulated Lace-Up Commando Boots, $136 (Orig. $195)
My winter boots from last year didn't look so great when I pulled them out of storage earlier this month, so I knew I needed a new pair. I decided on these Explorer Insulated Lace-Up Commando Boots from Hunter because shoppers said they were lightweight but still warm. Also, Hunter boots rarely ever go on sale, so this is a deal I wasn't about to pass up.
Gap Modern Crewneck T-Shirt, $13.47 (Orig. $29.95)
I love these soft and stretchy Modern Crewneck T-Shirts for layering under sweaters during the winter. They also look really chic on their own when tucked into jeans. I bought a bunch while the price was low at only $13.47.
