Locals urged to flee Flinders Ranges fire

People near an uncontrolled bushfire burning in South Australia's Flinders Ranges are being told it could threaten their safety.

The Country Fire Service says the blaze is burning in grass at Beetaloo Valley, near Laura in the southern ranges, and is travelling northeast towards Palmer Road.

Those in the area are being urged to follow their bushfire survival plans and leave now if they have a clear path to do so.
