I'm a Celebrity's Wagatha Christie Coleen Rooney rumbles secret mission

As the celebs prepare to come face to face again in the trial, the Wagatha Christie showdown will unfold!

We can't wait to see how it plays out.

Ant and Dec are very impressed with Coleen Rooney working it out behind the scenes.

Ant says: "Coleen is very good."

Dec agrees: "It's not quite.... But it's not far off!"

Coleen Rooney ignites the seed in everyone's mind — and everyone believes her.

She says: "I thought they looked more content than I thought he would be with the Junkyard with the environment. They were hiding something from us."

Danny Jones is struck by a memory from the trial. He says: "It looked put on. The feathers. She smelt lovely yesterday. As well."

Melvin Odoom says: "They were saying they were catching the fishguts putting it through the chute. They were throwing it straight over me."

GK Barry calls it now: Wagatha Christie has got it.

Tulisa also backs Rooney saying if she's onto something fishy, she believes her.

"I smell a rat!" Declares Odoom.

Ant and Dec play on the drama saying dinner is served with side dish of suspicions.

Coleen Rooney is definitely onto Maura Higgins, the Rev and Dean McCullough.

After a visit to the Jungle Junkyard, she shares her suspicions with main camp. She says: "They've got this content look. Like something going on. I came out of it not."

Her campmates then call her "Miss Marple" in reference again to the wonderful Agatha Christie, made famous for her detective novels.

Maura Higgins tells the Rev: "I'm going to hell father!"

The main camp had given over some of their food.

Dean, Maura and the Rev threw away some of their food because they couldn't eat all of it.

Coleen Rooney says the I'm a Celeb stars are looking better than she expected in Jungle Junkyard.

In a piece to camera, she says: "They looked better than I thought to be honest with you!"

After everything with.... Rebekah Vardy, Rooney is going to be the one who works it out... surely?

Dean McCullough declares Maura Higgins is evil as she bursts out laughing at the idea they must persuade main camp to give them food.

If they do, even though they have lots of food, to win three more portions for camp.

Jane Moore and Oti Mabuse are sold on the idea of Junkyard Jungle.

"I love it," Dean McCullough cackles when the main campers have gone. "What do we do with their dishes?" He asks.

Richard Coles reveals they magically replace the dishes with already clean plates stacked away in the green container.

McCullough is settling in well to his new camp as he sings about the secret mission and says it will be worth it for the buffet.

Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles are worrying that Dean McCullough is too "hyper".

"It's the sugar," the Love Island star complains. She worries he's been eating too much from the snack place.

Dean McCulllough smells a flaw in the secret mission: Maura Higgins smells so good.

The radio DJ tells the Love Island star she smells too good because she's just had a bath. He advises that she ties her hair up.

Barry McGuigan reveals he has a plastic nose because of boxing.

He tells his campmates: "When I had it broken it was flat, so they just took the bone out and replaced it with plastic."

The former boxer gives Danny Jones a boxing training session. "Today my life was made because Barry McGuigan let me hit him in the stomach," he says. "It was solid, like hitting a brick wall."

McGuigan shows his true strength as he demands he hit him harder and harder. Ant and Dec mock the moment as they playfully pretend to do the boxing.

Elsewhere, Coleen Rooney reveals her family love boxing. She says: "My dad had us, me and my two brothers sparring each other when we were younger. He used to get us in the living room, we’ve got it all on video. I was Big Betty, my brother’s called Jo and he was Little Josie, and we used to have a ring walk."

All of the I'm A Celebrity stars are taking part in Saturday's trial.

There will be no vote tonight to choose because everyone will have to take part!

Excited Dean McCullough says the BAFTA is coming after finding out the truth about Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles.

The radio 1 DJ can't believe his luck when they reveal the truth. He adds: "Honestly this is crazy. What the bleeeep! My mummy would kill me."

Higgins says: "We've not been in hell. We're in luxury. We get a lot of food. We've got a cooker."

Danny Jones asks "are you sure?" when Maura Higgins selects Dean McCullough to put up with roughing it in Junkyard Camp.

It certainly gets Ant and Dec laughing because McCullough has been struggling with the trials. "Lads! Lads!" McCullough protests as the presenters tell him that he will have no food because they got no stars... although this of course isn't true.

"Kinda happy it's him," says Jones. "I want to go and help as well."

Ant playfully tells Dean McCullough he is proud of him for getting one of the stars towards their camp.

Danny Jones had talked McCullough through getting in with the snakes to get the star — which he did.

Congratulations are in order as the pair got eight stars in total. Well done!

Dean McCullough misses out on finding the star in the kettle.

"Thought you would have gone straight to the kettle," Ant and Dec playfully tell him.

"They know about the tea!" A shocked McCullough says.

Of course they are referring to McCullough smuggling in the tea — which they were punished for yesterday.

Screaming Danny Jones makes his way through the fridge in the Bushtucker trial the High Street of Horrors.

"They're shocking me Dean!" He says.

Dean McCullough tries to help but ends up getting a shock and runs away saying it's not worth it.

Screaming ensues. Bugs are everywhere. McCullough is freaking out. "Keep calm Dean," Jones tells him.

They find two stars.

Ant and Dec try to get Dean McCullough to take part in the trial as they kept telling him to get back to it if he wanted to get stars!

Dec hadn't been lying as he had advised McCullough didn't give up on the fishguts where the final star was hidden.

Danny and Dean got two stars.

Ant makes a cutting comment about Dean McCullough as he compares his efforts to Rev Richard Coles and Maura Higgins pretending to do a trial.

He jokes: "Or as it's known doing a Dean!"

Dean McCullough can't call those famous words unless he wants to half the amount of time Danny Jones can do the trial.

He promises to do the whole trial. How will they get on? Can McCullough keep to his word?

Dean McCullough and Danny Jones are in shock as they meet Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles who look dishevelled (spoiler alert: they didn't do the trial).

The Rev lays it on thick saying: "I don't want to rain on your parade. We've done this one. It was interesting. I don't think you've done one with birds. It was so unexpected. It's our first trial."

Higgins complains: "It was to win two stars. We didn't get fed yesterday. I don't think I had any energy. The snake."

Rev adds: "Snakes and birds. Weird Australian birds."

Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles must pretend they have done a Bushtucker trial to Dean McCullough and Danny Jones.

They are loving telling the lies. Yet the pair are getting a bit of a taste of what living in the jungle can really be like.

Higgins and the Rev covered themselves in muck and feathers to make it all more persuasive. Will McCullough and Jones believe them?

Maura Higgins is absolutely fuming she is doing the trial.

"I'm living in glamorous camp," she complains. Rev Richard Coles tries to console her that it'll be ok.

The pair are going to be joining Dean McCullough and Danny Jones for the High Street of Horrors Bushtucker trial.

Maura Higgins cheekily quips she's enjoyed sleeping next to Rev Richard Coles.

The mischievous star says she would recommend "sleeping with a vicar".

GK Barry fears Maura Higgins is going to quit over the apparently bad conditions.

The podcast is totally convinced by Higgins and Rev Richard Coles. It seems their plan is working for some of the celebrities.

"She will walk," she worries in discussion with her other campmates.

Coleen Rooney begins to suspect something is suspicious about Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Cole in the preview played.

The pair have been tasked with a secret mission to deceive the main camp and convince them they are living in a hell hole but in reality they are living in luxury.

Ant ribs Dec over his size saying he was a "little tease" as they discuss the preview.

The Geordie presenters are bigging up the excitement set to come on the show, promising "twists and turns" in the saga about Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Cole's secret mission.

The 2024 campmates have been in the jungle for nearly a week now as the show kicked off on Sunday 17 November. This year, the late arrivals Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles have already headed into camp — although they are staying in a separate site at the moment.

Usually I'm a Celebrity is on our screens for three weeks, taking us closer to Christmas. We can't wait to see how this series unfolds!

I'm a Celebrity's late arrivals have already got everyone at home very excited about the 2024 series.

Thursday night proved to be chaotic in the jungle as we saw:

• Maura Higgins and Richard Coles enter a separate camp and be set a secret mission. They must lie telling the other stars they are living in a hell hole when in fact they are living in luxury.

• Dean McCullough said I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here for a second time. He got four stars but got a heroes welcome with the celebrities giving him a bath.

• McCullough was voted to do the next Bushtucker trial alongside McFly's Danny Jones. They will take on the High Street of Horrors with Ant and Dec watching on.

Dean McCullough has had a tough first week in the I'm A Celebrity camp, finding himself taking on more than his fair share of trials.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ has been targeted by viewers in nearly every Bushtucker Trial vote so far, surpassing early favourite choice GK Barry as the campmate most of the fans want to see try to win stars for meals.

McCullough's screams, tendency to quit trials, and smuggling in contraband teabags could all have contributed to viewers voting for him, but the radio presenter has been left looking shocked and appalled at his nominations. Meanwhile, even host Ant McPartlin struggled to disguise his frustration at McCullough dropping out of a trial early.

No celebrity signs up to go into camp thinking it'll be a breeze, but some have a much tougher time on the ITV show than others.

These famous campmates found I'm A Celebrity the stuff of nightmares as they were voted into the Bushtucker Trials time and again by both viewers and their co-stars.

Whether it was because of their hilarious reactions to the task horrors, or as punishment for how they treated their campmates, these unlucky contestants took on more than their fair share of challenges — will McCullough join this hall of fame?

I'm a Celebrity's 2024 stars have been punished after breaking the rules this week.

Dean McCullough boasted about smuggling in teabags and Melvin Odoom secretly brought in a packet of salt to flavour the bland rice and beans.

Smug Ant and Dec warned the viewers at home that contraband equals consequences. After the dingo dollar challenge, five cupcakes were confiscated meaning the celebrities had less treats. The chucking Geordie hosts enjoyed their sweet, sweet revenge.

Tense scenes show Danny Jones and Dean McCullough getting "electrifying" shocks in Friday's episode.

McFly's Jones cries out when he crawls through a bug-infested space with lots of wires dangling down.

Ant explains what is happening: "Yeah that's why it's the electrifying electrical store - you might get a few shocks in here!"

The musician screams out so his co-star McCullough tries to help him by leaning in but then gets a shock of his own — causing him to runs away. "It's not worth it, it's not worth it," he protests.

Ant and Dec are very amused, giggling away.

MY OPINION:

Forget Coleen Rooney's reported £1.5m signing, I think Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles' late arrival is one of I'm a Celebrity bosses' best decision in years.

Ant and Dec's brutal jokes about Wagatha Christie and..... Rebekah Vardy just minutes into the 2024 series have been good fun (and we all know Vardy is 100% watching and voting for Rooney to do the Bushtucker trials thanks to her newspaper column).

Yet Higgins and Coles' unexpected pairing is totally genius. Their double act will go down as one of the funniest moments in I'm a Celebrity history. I feel both Higgins and Coles are going to be earning every penny ITV bosses have paid them.

Danny Jones and Dean McCullough take on the Highstreet of Horrors. How will they fare in Friday's Bushtucker trial?

The McFly star has already proved he's incredibly brave, facing his fear of snakes head on in the first bushtucker trial on day one of camp. Albeit screaming, Jones had a snake pulled from his shorts at the end of the trial but he managed to get all five stars.

Meanwhile, McCullough has called out I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here during two of his trials. The first time because of sand and the second time because of fishguts (which definitely annoyed Ant!). On Thursday, the radio star got four stars. However, on Wednesday he got zero while working with GK Barry and during his first trial he got two stars.

Ant McPartlin held his hands up as he didn't mind admitting he was "unprofessional" after viewers noticed he looked "furious" when Dean McCullough was struggling.

Discussing Radio 1 DJ McCullough facing his fourth Bushtucker trial this week, Ant admitted he couldn't hide his annoyance after Thursday's trial.

Playfully he said on I'm a Celebrity's spin off show Unpacked: "I told you not to talk to me about it Sam [Thompson, the host of Unpacked].

"My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional and I'm not happy about it. You get to the point where you're like what are you doing?"

Thompson was very amused as he added: "The memes online are quite good. Ant had said he would like to see McCullough raise his game when taking part in the trial with Jones.

Dec Donnelly playfully mocked his partner. "I think you hid it quite well Ant," he then deliberately looked to the side to show he was not being 100% truthful.

Ant admitted: "You get to the point where you are like, what are you doing?"

Joel Dommett pointed out that it got to the point where McCullough had asked him if he had been to Benidorm and Ant bluntly said "no".

"I'm not making small talk with you anymore!" Ant said of the moment, wagging his finger playfully. "I'll be kind to him today. I'm going to try good cop today."
