Dean McCullough impressed Ant and Dec as he won 10 stars in the latest Bushtucker Trial.
In Monday, 25 November's episode, the radio presenter took on his sixth trial: Jack the Scream Stalk. Barry McGuigan revealed in the Bush Telegraph that he thought the star was being voted to do the trial because of McCullough's reactions while doing the trial.
On I'm A Celebrity's spin off show Unpacked, Ant and Dec made no secret that they are keen to see some of the other celebrities do the trial and they hope the fright bus will encourage people to vote for different stars.
They confessed they knew McCullough "too well" now they have seen him for six trials.
Playfully Ant said he wouldn't be following him on Instagram after the radio star said it would be great if they did. He said in jest: "I'm not going to follow him on Instagram. It's never going to happen!"
Earlier on I'm a Celebrity, Maura Higgins got a nasty surprise for her birthday as all the celebrities boarded the fright bus. Sat at the back of the bus, she will have to endure the ride for the longest.
It gives the celebrities a chance to win some luxuries and treats but they must battle the bugs while locked in the fright bus. We only got a taster this episode so will have to wait to find out how they get on in Tuesday's episode.
One of the highlights of Monday's installment saw the Rev Richard Coles and GK Barry strike up a friendship in the jungle.
They talked in depth about religion and sexuality — openly and honestly. It's the duo we didn't know we needed!
Tensions rising in camp
It comes as tensions have been beginning to rise in the I'm a Celebrity jungle.
Over the weekend, rows have begun to break out among the hungry campers. McCullough had a tense exchange with Alan Halsall — who plays Tyrone on Corrie — as he wasn't happy about being woken up to be prompted to do his firewood chore.
Coronation Street star Andy Whyment, who previously starred on I'm a Celebrity, called McCullough "disrespectful" over his "wee Tyrone" comment.
Elsewhere, Jane Moore accused new camp leaders Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones of "sexism" and "ageism" as they tasked her with the washing up — although Ant and Dec said they felt it was fair as the celebrities have to assign the chores to everyone.

Those at the back of the bus — must be on the bus for the longest and endure the trial for the longest.
"Hold on tight," the voiceover tells them on the bus. "It's going to be a bumpy ride."
The celebrities can win a piece of luggage each from the luggage rack. They all contain holiday essentials and even a tasty treat.
The challenge is simple: the campmates have to endure the bus and work within their rows of three to escape it, passing four stops on its journey.
Each row has to wait until their stop to manoeuvre three tokens across the bar to the stop button as fast as they can.
Every token won equates to one piece of luggage.

Maura Higgins moans the fright bus will be hell
Maura Higgins complains it's going to be "hell" as the celebs head onto the fright bus for her birthday.
"It might be a bit of fun this," Alan Halsall tries to reassure her. "The cockroaches run around. That's it. They stink though. Stink! They're not gonna bother you."
Higgins says she is "freaking out" even though her campmates tell her it won't be that bad.

Dean McCullough raises eyebrows with sex in a cemetery comment
Dean McCullough shocks with sex in a cemetery comment.
The star says: "The Reverend would beat us all in a game of Never Have I Ever."
He explains the rules to the Rev saying: "You say, 'Never have I ever had sex in a cemetery.'"
Coles repsonds: "What sort of vicar do you think I was?"
Rev Richard Coles discusses sexuality and religion to GK Barry
Rev Richard Coles speaks openly about his sexuality and religion in conversation with GK Barry.
They are the unlikely pals we didn't know we needed.
Speaking about sexuality and religion, GK asked Richard: "Did you find it quite difficult being gay and doing that job?"
Richard confessed: "No, not at all. I’ve never given it a moment’s twinge of anxiety over whether God thought it was alright or not. Whether other people thought it was alright or not, well I’m happy to have that argument… Gay people can do stuff you know!"
He added of his sexuality: "Also, I was not the first. Sometimes I look at documents from the early church, or the church of the middle ages and I just think — so gay."
GK reveals she struck up an unlikely friendship with the Rev. In the Bush Telegraph, she says Coles is her favourite person.
She says in a piece to camera: "I came into this jungle, maybe not knowing who I would gel with or who I would be close with in here and never in a million years if you told me that I would be getting on best with a reverend would I have believed you. But, he is honestly... I think he might be my favourite person in here."
Coles too reveals they have a good friendship in the Bush Telegraph. "We're decades apart," he says. But he reveals he's really enjoying GK Barry's company.
There's a moment that leaves even Ant and Dec blushing when the Rev and GK Barry discuss scissoring. GK Barry says it's ok for the Rev not to know what it is.
Danny Jones declares he has snake hips after his private dance lesson in the jungle with former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse.
He tells the Bush Telegraph: "I got snakes in my pants, now I’ve got snake hips!"
Passing the time in the jungle, the McFly star and Oti Mabuse are teaching each other a few skills.
First the musician gives the dancer a singing lesson and she's delighted because many would have to pay a lot of money for that! Then Mabuse teaches Jones how to dance the rhumba in 20 minutes.
Jones recalls of his lesson: "Oti had me in the deep end today! She had me doing the rhumba, and apparently the rhumba is the hardest for untrained male dancers."
Initially Mabuse isn't sure Jones will get it but then she is very impressed with the outcome. says: "I know it’s so difficult for men to actually do, it’s about timing, it’s about posture."
She later says: "He’s quite flexible in the hips, you know, and he listens."
And she adds: "We did a whole rhumba choreography with figures and we did it all in 20 minutes, I was really impressed!"

Dean McCullough reveals moment it was 'game over' in trial
Dean McCullough admits it was "game over" when he was left feeling exhausted in the trial.
"It was game over," he says. "You two shouting. I wanted to make youse proud for a wee second. I did try."
Ant and Dec give him an applause. "Next you'll be following me on Instagram," he tells the cheeky hosts.
The Geordie duo are not so convinced, playfully saying no though of course.

However, McCullough falls from the castle and is no longer able to continue with the trial. He only missed out on two stars.

Dean McCullough moans he's 'so tired' during Bushtucker trial
Dean McCullough now steps over onto the castle where he must look to collect the next batch of stars.
The radio DJ confesses he is feeling "so tired" as he continues to collect the stars. So far he has eight out of 12 which is impressive.
Ant and Dec are enjoying bickering playfully on the side lines over the new phrase "clip it to win it" because McCullough has no bag to put his stars in, like they usually do.

Maura Higgins celebrates her birthday in the jungle
Maura Higgins details how her latest birthday in the jungle was on the wild side!
The former Love Island star says her big day was totally different to any other birthday she has had before because she started it with a freezing cold shower outdoors in her bikini.
"And then I empited everyone's sh**," she confesses. Of course Higgins is referring to her camp chores as she is on camp maintenance, meaning she helps clear out the dunny under the new leadership Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan.
"It's definitely different from my other birthdays," she adds.
Dean McCullough has a strong response for those voting him to do trials
Ant and Dec ask Dean McCullough if he wants to say anything to anyone at home who is voting him in.
He jests: "It's not fit for telly."

Tulisa playfully puts her hands together as she hoped the campmates would stop singing.
She says: "I knew it was coming. I shouldn't have moaned about it."
Maura Higgins had a good giggle as she says, "Do you want father to join in with you?" She of course is referring to Rev Richard Coles.

Ant and Dec mock ageism and sexist row
Ant and Dec poked fun at the sexism and ageism row that broke out in camp.
Jane Moore accused new leaders Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones of sexism and ageism for putting her on washing up duty.
Dec teased: "Thanks to allegations of sexism from Jane Moore."
Ant chipped in: "She was forking furious!"
Dec agreed: "She reckons they've been very, very sexist!"
Ian Hyland
'Ant is so fed up with Dean doing the trials'
Here's what our TV columnist Ian Hyland thought of I'm a Celebrity's recent episode.
I know Ant McPartlin has become so fed up with McCullough doing the trials that he has publicly begged the public to vote for someone else, but he’s been in this game long enough to know that his pleas are likely to have the exact opposite effect.
Perhaps the producers are simply hoping that Coleen and Dean’s rhyming names will inspire Wayne Rooney to write another of his fabled poems. Or perhaps ITV is just getting its money’s worth out of this year’s big money signing while it can.
Here we must accept that Rooney becoming the first person to rumble Higgins and Coles’s secret luxury camp was simply an organic storyline development that, as luck would have it, allowed ITV to run with the “Wagatha Christie strikes again!” line. I’m not saying it didn’t happen that way, but we know enough by now about how reality shows are edited.
Ant demands Dean McCullough faces his fears in trial
Ant chats "face your fears" at Dean McCullough while he tackles the Bushtucker trial in eye-opening scenes.
McCullough is screaming and makes no secret of his struggle. He shrieks: "Come on lads! They're biting my hands! Don't tell me. Don't tell me."
Already halfway through telling him, Ant stops from saying the full word: spiders. "Nothing! Nothing!" Shouts Dec.
"Go very gentle," advises Ant. "He wasn't quick enough with the 'don't tell me'."
"You were halfway through," agrees his co-star Dec.
Upon realising it is spiders. McCullough begins to freak out. The Geordie presenters do their best to keep McCullough calm and Ant tries to spur him on by chanting "face your fears".

I'm A Celebrity's Richard Coles and Tulisa ruled out of trial revealed
I'm a Celebrity's Richard Coles and Tulisa couldn't be voted to do Monday's Bushtucker trial, Jack and the Scream Stalk.
The rev and the singer were immediately ruled out so fans couldn't vote for them. Ant and Dec made it clear neither of them would be in the running.
It's no surprise that Dean McCullough was voted instead to do his sixth trial of the series so far.
Jack and the Scream Stalk will see McCullough climb a ladder high up into the treetops and he will at points need to get stars from boxes. Inside the boxes are nasty surprises including spiders.

"We walked in and we had to get like the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree and stuff; so Donald Trump said to his son: 'See, told ya! All the soccer players get the good-looking girls.'"
Laughing, Rooney added: "I told my mum. I was like, 'Dirty b******!' He wanted Wayne to go over and teach his son how to play football."
She wrote for The Sun: "It’s blowing a gale at home but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle. Luckily it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage and they managed to get nine stars. I’m applauding Coleen. She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches and rats crawled all over her."
This may come as a surprise to viewers because Vardy has been using the opportunity to take digs at Rooney, saying she hoped to see she would eat penis and other nasties in the jungle trials. Rooney is reported to get a £1.5m payday but Vardy too has been making money from Rooney's jungle stint — with her newspaper column and trademarking Wagatha Christie.
Vardy and Rooney have one of the most famous fallouts in the UK showbiz world. Rooney exposed Vardy's Instagram account as the leak of newspaper stories about her life. Vardy sued Rooney for libel however when the WAGs battled it out in court, a judge ruled Rooney's social media post was "substantially true".
Dean McCullough called 'disrespectful' for behaviour towards Alan Halsall
I'm A Celebrity's Dean McCullough was called "disrespectful" by Alan Halsall's Coronation Street co-star Andy Whyment.
McCullough and Halsall butted heads in a tense argument over jungle chores. McCullough got irritated with Halsall for waking him up to carry the firewood.
Whyment, who took part in I'm A Celebrity in 2019 and the 2023's all star series, hit out at McCullough for taking aim at Halsall over the weekend.
The soap star said on Lorraine Kelly's daytime chat show: "The bit that got me was when he was in the Bush Telegraph and said, 'I was asleep with wee Tyrone from Coronation Street standing over me'.
"I just thought that was a bit disrespectful, I mean, Alan's a 42-year-old man. The way Dean was speaking to him, I think he was speaking to him like a child. I just thought it was a bit disrespectful."
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked airs live on ITV2 every night directly after the ITV1 show. You can also stream it anytime on ITVX or catch the ITV1 daytime repeat which airs the following day.
"That was the moment I realized that I would never be a grandparent or watch my daughter fall in love, get married, or do anything 'normal' in society’s eyes. My daughter was asexual."
