Big question arises after two-legged bear goes viral
OK, so that last post has immediately sparked questions from some inquisitive colleagues.
Does a bear have four legs or two legs and two arms? And is the two-legged bear simply a normally-legged bear without any arms?
My boss is currently Googling bear skeletons as I type. So what do you think? Have your say below.

Remarkable vision of two-legged bear
Ever seen a two-legged bear before? Well you have now.
Kirk Price, an outdoorsman based in West Virginia, told USA TODAY that his trail camera spotted the odd-looking animal in the Appalachian Mountains and is one of several sightings of the bear in recent years.
"He’s very illusive and is rarely spotted in person," Price said. "He lives in the mountains. Believe it or not he moves around quite a bit." He believes the bear was born this way after one encounter where he got a good look of him.
The bear has not been given a name by those who have seen him, and Price said they "normally just refer to him as the 'two-legged bear'."
Very fitting.

Teen driver's bold claim as he cops $3k fine
A teen P-plater might need his eyes tested after copping a $3,000 fine for driving more than 50km/h over the speed limit.
That's because the 19-year-old told police he "saw 80 on my speedo" when pressed about his offence.
The driver was detected on Sunday night in Sydney's Glenfield travelling at 125km/h in a 70 zone.
"Due to the excessive speed he was issued with an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h ($2,959 - 6 points), as well as having his licence confiscated and suspended for a minimum period of 6 months," NSW Police said.
"Additionally, the registration plates affixed to the vehicle were also seized and returned to the relevant authority - where they will be held for 3 months."

Tradies take over Melbourne once again in CFMEU protest
Thousands of constructions workers have gathered in mass rallies to support the CFMEU as the construction section's administrator promises to crack down on bikie infiltration.
Workers and their comrades, including from electrical trades, maritime and manufacturing unions, downed tools on Wednesday and marched through major cities to express their anger over the federal takeover of the Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union.

The union's construction and general division has allegedly been involved in criminal and corrupt conduct, recently uncovered by Nine newspapers.
More than 10,000 arrived at Trades Hall in Melbourne at 10.30am before marching down LaTrobe Street, closing the major thoroughfare and causing tram disruptions.
Marchers chanted "union strong" and sported merchandise with slogans including "God forgives but the CFMEU doesn't".
Electrical Trades Union representative Troy Gray accused politicians of trying to stop workers getting pay rises.
"The same politicians that fist pumped the air when they put the CFMEU into administration just gave themselves a pay rise," he said.
"Most of them wouldn't last a week (on a construction site)."

Fears a $7 coffee will soon be the norm
It feels like just about everything is going up in price, doesn't it? Well one expense many Aussies say they can't go without is about to get a fair bit higher, cafe owners fear.
“We know, everyone is doing it tough right now, so of course operators don’t want to be charging $7 for a flat white but that will become the norm," Phillip Di Bella, founder of the Coffee Commune, told the Courier Mail.
He said cafes cannot survive on the margins they are currently making on coffee and will have no choice but to put prices up or go bust.
So would you pay $7 for your daily coffee? Have your say below.

Cost of new AFL stadium balloons
It's barely been two months since the AFL's newest team the Tasmanian Devils announced their plans for a timber-roofed stadium in Hobart, but the cost of construction has already shot up.
Developers have released a 4000-page application for the 23,000-seat roofed stadium at Macquarie Point, with a $715 million price tag initially revealed by the state Liberal government now increasing to $775 million.
It comes after Yahoo Environment Editor Michael Dahlstrom probed developers about where it would source the timber for its striking roof, with architects saying they would be using local sustainable wood.
Something truly special 💚💛♥️
Here's the first look at our new Mac Point stadium.
A truly Tasmanian design that will be able to host international cricket, world-class concerts and our very own AFL team.

Passengers' ears and noses 'left bleeding' after pressure issue on flight
There's a disturbing story coming out of the US where Delta Airlines passengers were reportedly left with blood coming out of their noses and even ears due to a pressurisation issue.
It comes as a Qantas plane was grounded in Queensland yesterday with a similar issue.
Passengers onboard the US flight bound for Portland quickly began to feel pressure in their noses and eardrums as a result of the issue.
“I grabbed my ear, and I pulled my hand back, and there was blood on it,” Jaci Purser told KSL TV after she said she felt a stabbing pain.
The flight was quickly grounded. Read more here.

Brits bracing for 'mini-heatwave'.... reaching 25C
We all know by now the Brits lose it over any sort of elevated temperature, and therefore it's probably no surprise a high of 25C is being branded a "mini-heatwave" in the UK this week.
Aussies often get a good laugh from the Poms when they struggle with heat that's pretty standard for most of the year Down Under.
Of course, there is the argument from Brits that "the heat feels hotter" in the UK, and while there may be an element of truth to that, the "mini-heatwave" being pushed in the British press might be a step too far.

Does your boss get you a Christmas gift?
Times are tough and the cost-of-living crisis rolls on. So are you expecting a Christmas gift from your employer this year? Well I wouldn't be too confident you'll get one.
A survey from hamper and gift basket provider Hampers With Bite found that just 29 per cent gave gifts to staff during the festive period.
Hampers With Bite General Manager Kathryn Hogarty said doing so helps "improve staff health and wellbeing, helps retain workers and boosts overall workplace culture.”
Do you think employers should give gifts at Christmas time? Have your say below.

China slammed over move on Australian aircraft
Vision claiming to show a 2022 aircraft encounter above the South China Sea has been slammed by Australian MPs.
The video shows a J-16 fighter jet intercept an Australian surveillance aircraft on what is said to have been a routine patrol of international airspace, the ABC reported. In video shared on Chinese state television as part of a Chinese army documentary, the pilot boasted how he was not afraid of a "strong enemy". "We must show our swords to the enemy," he added.
Simon Birmingham, the leader of the Opposition in the Senate, slammed the Chinese government over the video, labelling it an “unacceptable glorification of unacceptable military conduct”.
Speaking on ABC radio this morning, the senior Liberal figure said the concerning actions depicted in the clip “risk possible miscalculation and escalation” and could heighten military tensions in the region.
He also lamented the “propaganda” video “appears to describe Australia as an enemy and an opponent”, asserting that is not how the Australian government sees itself.
Shadow defence minister Andrew Hastie said if the footage was genuine, it shows "highly dangerous" conduct.
