LeBron James had 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for LA, who lost forward Anthony Davis with an aggravated a right Achilles injury.
Davis left late in the second quarter after clashing with Jokic, and will have an MRI on Monday.
"I don't want to mess around with this type of injury," Davis said.
"Just trying to figure out the best steps."
Davis, who finished with 15 points in 14 minutes, missed two games last week with an Achilles injury.
