At least six injured in series of Russian strikes on Kharkiv, official reports

At least six workers of a civilian production facility, including four women, were treated for blast injuries in the administrative center of Kharkiv, regional governor Oleh Synehubov reported on Telegram on May 4 after a series of four evening explosions in the city.

One of the victims was hospitalized after the Russian strikes.

 

The production facility, a nearby residential building, and several outbuildings  in the Industrial district caught massive fire, which was extinguished overnight.

 

The following morning, May 5, the Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne reported an overnight Russian Shahed drone attack on Kharkiv and Dnipro. At least one person was injured in an explosion in Kharkiv and was treated by medics.

 

Later, Ukrainian air force commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported that the country's air defense units and mobile fire groups shot down 23 of 24 Russian one-way attack drones over Kharkiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts overnight.
