Last week, it was announced that Paul W Downs and Megan Stalter had been promoted from recurring cast members to series regulars.

On Friday, a first-look trailer was released confirming the Primetime Emmy Award-winning comedy series would be back on US screens on Thursday, May 2 with a two-episode premiere.

Following the two-episode premiere, two episodes of the show will be released weekly until Thursday, May 30 when the season finale drops.

Season 3 of Hacks will pick up a year after season 2 ends, with Deborah Vance (Smart) riding off the success of her standup special while Ava (Einbinder) looks for new opportunities back in Los Angeles.
