Laurence Fox engaged to marry for second time

Laurence Fox has announced he is engaged to be married for the second time.

The 43-year-old actor and musician - who divorced his first wife Billie Piper in 2016 - published a formal announcement of his engagement to Arabella May Fleetwood Neagle in the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Fox shared the announcement on his social media on his social media accounts adding: "An announcement. She said yes."

Very little is known about Fleetwood Neagle or how long she and Fox have been in a relationship.

The Lewis star shared a picture of himself on New Year's Eve kissing a blonde woman whose face could not be seen, captioned: "Happy new year. Love to you all."

Fox was married to actor and pop singer Piper, 39, from 2007 to 2016 and they share two sons Winston, 13, and Eugene, nine.

He went on to date TV presenter Lilah Parsons in 2018.

Fox has previously said the financial burden of getting divorced was “horrendous”.

He added: “It was quite a drastic life change. Goodbye, money! Goodbye, wife! Argh! But that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, doesn’t it? Obviously, you miss the large bank account but that’s not everything.”

Fox and Piper were granted a 'quickie' divorce in 50 seconds in 2016 on the grounds the marriage had irretrievably broken down.

A member of the Fox acting dynasty – his father is James Fox, his uncle is Edward Fox and his cousins are Freddie and Emilia Fox.

He attended British public boys’ school Harrow but was expelled a few weeks before his A-Levels.

He is best known for playing detective James Hathaway in long-running ITV drama Lewis.

Fox become the centre of a media storm after voicing controversial opinions on political debate show Question Time in January 2020.

During the coronavirus pandemic he has been outspoken against lockdown restrictions and in May 2021 he stood for London Mayor, only to lose his £10k after getting just 1.8 per cent of votes.
