AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 42,598,706 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Thursday, including 160,279 in the previous 24 hours.

* Of the total, 25,606,327 have been administered by the Commonwealth, an increase of 121,148 on the previous 24 hours.

* 16,992,379 have been administered by the states and territories, including 39,131 in the previous 24 hours.

* 94.3 per cent of people 16 and over have received at least their first dose and 91.3 per cent both.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* 32,941 new cases: 21,151 in NSW, 5919 in Victoria, 2093 in South Australia, 3118 in Queensland, 462 in ACT, 137 in Tasmania, 60 in the Northern Territory, and one in WA.

* The national death toll is 2238 (+15): Victoria 1524 (+7), NSW 663 (+6), SA eight (+2), ACT 15, Tasmania 13, Queensland seven, WA nine, and the NT one. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 286,518,900

* Deaths: at least 5,429,500

* Vaccine doses administered: at least 9,098,993,100.
