LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:

* Four new COVID-19 cases have been uncovered among a family in Melbourne's north, sparking a search for the source of the outbreak. The four new cases snap Victoria's 86-day streak without a locally acquired case.

* People entering Australia could provide their coronavirus vaccination status through a new pre-check-in digital declaration when international borders reopen, with a trial likely to take place in early 2022.

* Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly says Australia's strong track record containing coronavirus could come unstuck very quickly, particularly with the onset of winter. He also said he was open to novelty measures to encourage vaccination such as lotteries and product discounts.

* The mass COVID-19 vaccination centre at Sydney Olympic Park in NSW has begun to administer the AstraZeneca vaccine to those aged over 50.

* Queenslanders aged 40-49 will start lining up for the Pfizer vaccine from the end of July when 14 new community vaccination hubs open statewide.

* South Australia announced plans to expand the availability of the coronavirus vaccine to anyone over the age of 16 and living in regional SA communities, and a program to provide vaccines on Kangaroo Island.

* A second repatriation flight from India on Sunday landed in Darwin with 165 Australians aboard. They will now quarantine at Howard Springs.

* The number of Australians following public anti-vaccination groups on Facebook has almost trebled during the pandemic.

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There were 3,613,053 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Sunday, including 13,089 in the previous 24 hours.

* Of the total, 2,338,303 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 7140 in the previous 24 hours).

* 2,012,186 have been issued in primary care (+7045) and 326,117 in aged and disability facilities (+95).

* 1,274,750 have been administered by the states and territories, including +5949 in the previous 24 hours.

* 370,495 have been administered in Victoria (+2622), 345,393 in NSW (+0), 187,517 in Queensland (+1), 148,503 in Western Australia (+1030), 92,887 in South Australia (+802), 58,472 in Tasmania (+865), 43,630 in the ACT (+343) and 27,853 in the NT (+286).

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Australia reported four new locally acquired virus cases on Monday, all of which in Victoria and revealed after the state's 24-hour reporting period for Sunday.

* There were nine new overseas-acquired cases in hotel quarantine; two in Victoria, two in NSW, three in Queensland, one in SA and one in WA.

* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 167,179,000

* Deaths: at least 3,463,000

* Vaccine doses administered: at least 1,654,359,000
