Several Korean celebrities, including Blackpink’s Lisa and Pentagon’s Kino, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week. Actors Jung Woo-sung and Go Kyung-pyo have just been added to the list.

Jung’s management agency Artist Company said the actor, who is now under quarantine, received his test results on Monday (29 November). He was an award presenter at the Blue Dragon Film Awards held on 26 November, and came in contact with various film workers and actors.

One of those whom Jung had contact with is Squid Game actor Lee Jung-jae, who presented an award with Jung. However, Lee has tested negative for COVID-19. A representative of Lee said that the actor regularly took the polymerase chain reaction test, and that participants of the Blue Dragon Film Awards could only attend the ceremony if they received negative test results.

As for Go Kyung-pyo, his management agency CL& Company released a statement on Tuesday (30 November) to announce his positive test results. They said that Go is now in self-quarantine, and will return in a healthier state.

Go was cast in an upcoming Netflix film Seoul Vibe, which had to postpone its filming as a consequence. The filming schedule will be confirmed again based on the film staff’s test results and the guidelines of the quarantine authorities.

Here’s wishing both actors a speedy recovery!
