Hilarious bathroom fail as Kmart bath bomb turns water a suspicious colour

A Victoria mother's decision to liven up her kids' bath time with a fragrant bath bomb has dramatically backfired.

Andrea Lawrence took to Facebook group Kmart Mums Australia to share the moment a three dollar Vanilla Latte bath bomb turned her children's bath water a revolting shade of brown.

She couldn't help but point out that the water appeared to be the result of a rear-end mishap.

"Vanilla Latte looks like someone pooped in the bath,' she wrote online.

Luckily the woman and her children managed to see the funny side of the unfortunate colouring and embraced their bath time.

"I said to my kids, 'It looks like you are bathing in poop' and they also had a bit of a laugh," she added.

Other Facebook users were a little more reserved in their assessment of the water with one suggesting the water was like that from a river while another said it appeared to be the aftermath of washing a host of dirty children.

Another Kmart customer took to Facebook to reveal her bath bomb from the discount chain left her skin glowing pink while her bathtub needed extensive scrubbing following her bath.

"Thought it was a nice idea to have a relaxing bath, until I got out and had to spend half an hour scrubbing at the bath with bleach," Tara Thurston wrote.

"Now I feel very ordinary from the bleach fumes and have a pink tinge to my skin."
