KFC lovers rejoice! The fast food giant has announced they will be launching Aussie weddings as of November.

In a new promotion, six lucky nugget lovers and popcorn chicken enthusiasts will be able to bring their passion for poultry to the wedding day at no cost.

Only six couples will be chosen to take part in the promotion, which by the way won’t cost the lucky winners a cent.

The fried chicken specialists are inviting die hard fans to ‘put a wing on it’ and say cock-a-doodle-I-do over an iconic bucket of deep fried delicious.

For the next month hopeful couples can apply to be one of the six weddings which will be fully catered by KFC, though the couple will have to provide a venue, and all the others bit and pieces.

What it will provide is a celebrant, food truck, photo booth and music all proudly KFC themed.

“We’ll be catering for up to 200 guests at each wedding,” the fast food chain wrote on the website, adding the idea was an homage to the numerous stories of proposals in KFC restaurants.

Applications close on the 18th October, after which the weddings will start to roll out from November this year, through to March 2020.

Couples that miss out however, can still bring the chicken to the party as the chicken retailers offer general catering all year round at a surprisingly reasonable price.

Parties of 50 or more can be catered with a Variety Pack for just $230, which works out to just $4.60 per head, which any bride or groom to be will know is probably the cheapest price available.

If you really wanted to splash out you could double the order and still pay under $10 per person.

If this isn’t the next budget wedding trend, then something is seriously wrong with the wedding world.
