Kate and Wills release new photo from Prince Louis' christening

The royal family have released official photos from Prince Louis’ christening day.

In addition to the set of four photos taken by Matt Holyoak released on Sunday evening, the family have decided to release an additional photo of Prince Louis.

In the bonus photo by Matt Porteous, little Louis can be seen chuckling and smiling in his mothers arms.

Prince Louis’ christening took place last week, and aside from giving us our first glimpse of His Royal Highness since his birth, it was the first time the Cambridges had stepped out as a five-some.

In one of the set of four photos, the Cambridges pose with Prince Louis and their wider family, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall and the Middleton family, who were also present for the day.

In another shot, the Cambridges pose in another more intimate family photo alongside Prince Louis’ grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla and his auntie and uncle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In another beautiful shot, Kate poses alone with Prince Louis in the garden.

The stunning photos were taken by Matt Holyoak in the morning room at Clarence House, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held a tea after the christening.

Holyoak said: “I was truly honoured at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness first hand such a happy event.

“Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure.

“I hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs.”
